In-Kind Gifts
Trees Forever volunteers and supporters often provide free mulch, equipment, services and a host of in-kind gifts. We welcome your “in-kind” gifts, and will recognize you in our annual report. The IRS requires that you place a value on your in-kind gift.
Attention State of Iowa and Federal Employees
Employees of the State of Iowa and the U.S. Government can now donate to Trees Forever through their respective workplace giving campaigns. Trees Forever now participates in the State of Iowa One Gift campaign, two area Combined Federal Campaigns, and the Iowa Shares campaigns at Iowa’s three state universities.
If you are an employee of Iowa State University, the University of Iowa, or the University of Northern Iowa, you can designate a donation to Trees Forever through your campus’ Iowa Shares campaign. This gives you the option of donating to Trees Forever through a convenient payroll deduction each month. Just be sure to designate your gift to Trees Forever on the Iowa Shares pledge form.
All other State of Iowa employees can donate to Trees Forever through the Iowa One Gift campaign. This also allows you to take advantage of donating using a payroll deduction option. Our Iowa One Gift agency number is 7692. Look for us in the annual campaign materials distributed by the state.
Finally, if you are a Federal Government employee in central or eastern Iowa or western Illinois, you can contribute to Trees Forever through your local Combined Federal Campaign. The two campaigns we are involved with this year are Northern Lights (central Iowa) and Illowa Bi-State (eastern Iowa/western IL). Our CFC code is 16760.
