Trees and Water Quality Symposium
Trees Forever held the second Trees & Water Quality Symposium on September 9, 2011 in Moline, Illinois. The event featured two workshop tracks – one for agriculture and one for communities – and two keynote speakers. Dr. Dick Schultz from Iowa State University reported on 20 years of research from the nationally acclaimed Bear Creek Buffer Project in central Iowa. Dr. Les Werner from the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point gave a broader view of how societal, financial and environmental interests can enhance or impede future successes.
