Meet at the Wilson Ave Hy-Vee between 8:00-8:30am to pick up safety vests, trash bags, and sign a volunteer log. From there, volunteers will spread out along I-380 between 33rd Avenue and Boyson Road to pick up litter along the interstate. Volunteers will be provided two bags, one for trash and one for recyclables. The trash bags may be left along the shoulder of I-380 for the DOT to pickup. The recycling bags may be brought back to the Wilson Ave Hy-Vee. Safety vests are asked to be returned to the Wilson Ave Hy-Vee at the end of the pickup for future use.
Dress: Volunteers are asked to bring gloves and wear sturdy shoes.
