State Capitol Building in Des Moines, First Floor Rotunda
8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.; press conference at 11:00 a.m.; stay all day or stop in for an hour. Please help us tell state lawmakers that Iowans want policies that protect our natural resources and provide a safe, healthy environment for this and future generations. Representatives from Iowa Environmental Council member organizations will be in the rotunda, with table displays and information. Training on how to citizen lobby and fact sheets on key environmental policies for 2010 will be provided that day.
