Oak Hill Jackson Neighborhood Tree Planting, Cedar Rapids, IA

Tuesday, May 18, 2010
Volunteers are invited to help plant trees in the Oak Hill Jackson neighborhood of Cedar Rapids. Volunteers should arrive at 9:00 at Metro High School for a brief orientation before they are joined by Metro High School for the tree planting. Volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes and should dress for the weather and the dirt! Volunteers can also bring shovels or other tools, but should label their tools for easy identification.

This tree planting completes the Oak Hill Jackson Neighborhood We Dig Your District planting sponsored by Alliant Energy and started last fall.

The planting times are estimates. The more volunteers we have, the quicker it will go! If you have any questions, contact Karen Brook at kbrook@treesforever.org or (319) 373-0650 ext. 14.
