The 100 trees planted in Cedar Falls marks the 100 years Viking Pump has been a local and world wide business.
Trees will be planted at three main sites: Birdsall Park, the University of Northern Iowa campus and along the streets where hundreds of trees were lost during past storms.
About 100 Viking Pump staff and family members are expected at this spring event. Other events this spring will help the community and Viking Pump staff recognize this 100 year acheivement.
UNI staff will plant the campus trees.
