Buffer Crawl, Linn County, IA

Sunday, September 11, 2011
Trees Forever will be hosting a buffer crawl along Indian Creek in Linn County on Sunday, September 11.

We will be stopping at buffer sites that showcase conservation practices, farm practices, and urban buffers in a single watershed. You’ll see some practical ideas - applicable to both rural and community landowners - as we tour three sites in and around Marion, Iowa.

The Bus Tour:
The bus will be leaving the parking lot at City State Bank at 2pm and will drive to the three sites, ending at CreekView Coves for Hors De’vours and a short presentation. We will return to the bank’s parking lot at 6 pm.

Hors d’oeuvres will be provided for participants. To make sure we have enough food and refreshments, please register here by September 7.

Directions to City State Bank:
Located along Hwy 100, just east of Menards
