	Controlled Prairie Burn The photos illustrate, in sequential order, a controlled burn that was done to manage a newly established reconstructed prairie.


	Cottonwood Carvings in Colorado All the old cottonwood trees in the area of Craig, Colorado, were diseased and needed to be removed. The city council approved a chainsaw competition in the park and offered a prize. These pictures are a result of the competition in the park.
